Program terms

The Unstale affiliate program in plain words. By applying, you accept these terms.

1. The program

The Unstale affiliate program ("the program") rewards partners who refer paying customers to https://unstale.ai. It is run by Web & SEO Ltd, a company registered in Hong Kong under company no. 1826120, at Unit G, 15/F, Tal Building, 49 Austin Road, Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong ("we"), publisher of Unstale. You take part as an independent partner: nothing here creates an employment, agency or partnership relationship.

2. Joining

You apply with your name, email address, the referral code you would like and a short description of how you will promote Unstale. We review every application by hand and may accept or decline it without giving a reason. You must be at least 18 and able to receive payments to a bank account or a PayPal account in your own name.

3. Commission

You earn 30% of the net amount of each sale you refer, for as long as the referred customer keeps an active subscription. The net amount is what the customer pays before tax, after any discount, and before payment processing fees. A sale paid in another currency counts at its value in EUR as converted by our payment provider at the time of the sale. The rate applied to a sale is the rate in force when that sale happens; a later change of rate never rewrites past sales. We may agree different terms with you in writing; they then replace the standard rate for your account.

4. Tracking and attribution

A visitor who reaches https://unstale.ai through your tracking link (any page of the site with ?ref=yourcode) receives a referral cookie valid for 60 days. If that visitor buys while the cookie is valid, the sale is attributed to you. The last click wins: a newer referral link replaces an older cookie. If the customer uses a coupon code issued to another partner, that partner gets the sale, whatever the cookie says. Once a subscription is attributed to you, its renewals stay attributed to you within the duration above, even if the cookie has expired since.

5. Validation and refunds

A commission stays pending for 30 days after the payment it comes from, to cover refunds and chargebacks. A refunded or charged-back payment removes the matching commission, in full or in proportion, even if it was already paid out: the deduction then comes off your next payout. Your balance can therefore be negative for a while; it carries over until it is positive again.

6. Payouts

Once a month, our team pays every partner whose payable balance reaches 50.00 EUR and who has entered valid payout details. You choose between a SEPA bank transfer (we pay the full amount, no fees) and PayPal (we send the full amount as a commercial payment; PayPal's receiving fees, if any, are yours). Payout details are stored encrypted and are never sent by email. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on your commissions in your country.

7. Coupon codes

We may issue you a coupon code for your audience. A code is meant for your own channels. A code that shows up on a coupon aggregator, a deal site or a public code list is archived and stops attributing sales, because it would capture sales brought by other partners.

8. What is not allowed

• Self-referrals: buying Unstale for yourself, your company or your own projects through your link or code.
• Bidding on the Unstale brand, its product names or misspellings in paid search, or using them in ad copy or domain names.
• Unsolicited email, comment spam, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, or any technique that sets the referral cookie without a real visit.
• Misleading claims about Unstale, its pricing or its features, or presenting yourself as Unstale.
• Publishing your coupon code on aggregators or deal sites (see section 7).
• Using the logos, banners, screenshots or texts of the marketing kit for anything other than promoting Unstale, changing what they say or show, or using them once you no longer take part in the program.

A sale that breaks these rules is not paid, and we may cancel commissions already credited.

9. Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close your account at any time if these terms are broken, and you can leave the program at any time by writing to partners@unstale.ai. When an account is closed, payable commissions that are not the result of a breach are paid at the next monthly payout if they reach the minimum; pending commissions are forfeited.

10. Changes

We can change the rate, the duration, the validation delay, the minimum payout or these terms. Changes apply to sales that happen after the change; they never rewrite sales already recorded. The current terms are always the ones shown on this page.

11. Your data

We store what you gave us when applying, your payout details (encrypted), your tracking statistics and your commission ledger, for as long as your account exists and as long as accounting rules require afterwards. We do not share this data with anyone except our payment and email providers, as needed to run the program. Write to partners@unstale.ai to access or delete it.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the program is capped at the commissions paid to you in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

FAQ

When do I get paid?

Once a month, when your payable balance reaches 50.00 EUR and your payout details are on file. Commissions become payable 30 days after the payment they come from.

Does my link work on every page of the site?

Yes. Add ?ref=yourcode to any page of https://unstale.ai, or paste the page address in the Links section of your dashboard and we build the link for you.

Do I earn on renewals?

Yes, for as long as the referred customer keeps an active subscription.

Can I use my own link to buy?

No. A self-referral is not paid, and it is grounds for closing the account.

Who do I ask when something is unclear?
